KUDOS to her!

For years she went from doctor to doctor complaining of vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss and stomach pains. They said she had irritable bowel syndrome. They said she had colitis. They said the slides of her intestinal tissue were fine, but she knew that wasn’t right.  Follow the link here for the rest of this impressive story.  http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/us_world/Teen-Outsmarts-Doctors-In-Sciene-Class.html?yhp=1

    • yes… the thing about doctors is they only diagnose based on what they were taught in med school. it takes a special doctor to think outside of the box. she’s off to a great career as a physician that’s for sure. i was also glad to see that some kids out there are excited about learning and doing positive things too. this story rocked, in our opinion. notice that corporate media has failed to report her story widely… they report over and over with that UK idol chick, but i haven’t seen this story once in the news.

      • Don’t worry it is definitely out there because I told my folks about this post and they told me that they saw that on the news. So someone out there didn’t drop the ball. Unfortunately you know how it is, “if it doesn’t bleed…”. How many good news stories are swept under the rug because it’s not jaw dropping?

      • ““if it doesn’t bleed…”. How many good news stories are swept under the rug because it’s not jaw dropping?” Agreed, and too many positive stories never get reported… glad to someone saw this on the news because I sure didn’t.

    • Well thank you for the compliment! We try to keep it factual and interesting here. Thanks for stopping by… please check us out again soon!
